Can anyone tell me if the large black/white stripe wire in this pic is Battery+?
I'm trying to run a positive wire to the trailer hitch wiring control box in the trunk. It would be much easier to tap into this wire than try to get access through the firewall.

If nobody jumps in, you'll get a reliable answer from the wiring diagram (more info).

    Thanks,
If no one does, I'll subscribe to TIS so I can view the diagram.
The wire is hot, just not sure if it's direct to the battery or not. Sure does appear that way.

The Electrical Wiring Diagram shows (under System Circuit: Steering: EPS) that it’s the power supply for the power steering ECU assembly. I’d strongly recommend not disturbing it.

If you don’t need much current, my April 2017 posting describes an alternative.
