    If you're afraid of this from an electrocution point of view, I don't think Toyota can do anything about it. If these things were dangerous, every time it started raining while it was on charge, someone would get killed. Obviously that doesn't happen, and since they're always GFCI protected, the risk of shock is zero, regardless of water intrusion, even if the water is heavily ionized (deionized/clean water doesn't conduct electricity).

    Don't have a plug-in, but the things I've done with electricity are numerous to say the least. Including being "hit" by 120 more than 300 times and 320DC more that 30 times.

    maybe you need some silicone caulk, gasketing and drain holes.:cool:

    I'd be more upset about having the large plug flap without having CHAdeMO as an option.
