I really like the Alert feature. Very cool.:)

And thanks, Danny, for disabling the "reason" requirement for edits. My keyboard typing is so poor that the only way I would like that functionality is if it where to have a default setting of "I can't proof read";)

If someone didn't get it right away, you can always "report" with the report link under each post and one of the Mods will handle it.

I noticed I'm now a "new" member? Congratulations on the hard work and obvious success. I like the look of the web pages and will get used to the differences. Spy is a bit of fun. Eeal time chat almost. I find the background a little too bright to read with comfort. It certainly seems a lot faster!

Something else that was lost in the conversion, that I found useful in the old format, is the following.

In addition to being able to click on an icon in a thread heading to jump to the next unread post in that thread, there was an icon that when clicked on in a thread with no unread posts, jumped to the last post in the thread.

Not a huge deal, but I miss it.

I noticed what looks like another feature loss. In the old board, one could specify an icon for the post (e.g. question mark) and it'd show up in the list view. Seems like that's gone in this software.

Isn't that the last page button that appears at the top and bottom of each page when reading a topic?

And there's a button there that also says "Go To First Unread".

There's pretty much everything the old software had. I like the "Alerts" and "What's New" links the best for fast navigating around to what is new and what conversations I've been in previously and new stuff in them. Plus the "Alert" puts a little red flag on the forum tab so I can go back to the forum and read it when someone posts something in a topic I'm interested in.

I had gotten hooked on the "recently posted" drop down from the previous Forum main drop down. Now there only appears to be a few "most recently" posted availableon the homepage. Am I missing some new drop down somewhere or has the "most recently" been a casualty?
    Regards,

It's killing me to have to edit the size of photos taken with my phone before I can post them. Ugg :)

I'm trying to figure out where my avatar came from. It's not the one I had set up for use on this forum.

I'm not sure if it's just me but under the Personal Details and under "package" for the vehicle information, I get the prefix "user_field_package_choice" before the name of the packages.

Same here. Looks like it's just the field name.

That's not what I'm referring to.

For instance, when on the "Gen III 2010+ Prius Main Forum" page (which lists the threads), in addition to an icon to the left of the thread title on a thread that contains unread posts, that you click to jump to the first unread post (which still exists), there used to be another icon to the right of the thread title on a thread that doesn't contain unread posts, that would jump to the last post in the thread--which no longer exists.

Actually, I just checked again, and that pop up feature doesn't contain all their info--it's missing the year/model info, which I find particularly useful when answering year/model specific questions (which many are).

So far I like the new site a lot. Question though, how come we still can't use .gif's for avatars?
