awesome... I'll just live with it. It is my daily beater, looks like a pain to the wallet and also time consuming to replace.

Or fill and sand it. Then Plastidip it with black or a contrasting color of you choice!

I think you'd need to remove it to repair, likely the way to go. Start with some fiberglass mesh on the backside. Makes the PlastiDip application a lot easier too.

I think that's commendable. If enough Prime owners do that, maybe Toyota will get wind and smarten up, next iteration. If there is one.

Not sure if that’s the best way to get Toyota to change, or were u being sarcastic? I may just tackle it with some moldable plastic (always wanted to try it) then plastidip makes sense since I am going to do that to the antenna (with teal blue, since I am a sharks fan)

    Any instructions for removal? Thanks

Nope. Our 2010 has a bit of saggy back bumper (aka saggy butt) syndrome. I just let it be, won't be falling off any time soon.

Have you seen this? It was a guy one cul-de-sac over, and I was really impressed. Sadly, he got it professionally repair, after about 6 months.

yes, I saw something like that from someone that does drifting or something a long those lines, and its common practice for them to "fix" the bumper like that because it'll continuously be at the risk of being destroyed. He must've had like 5+ seam repairs on the bumper... I would totally do that if mine can be repaired like that too :)

I like your style, sir !
Just use electrical tape for the curving parts and finish with quality masking tape around that and lots of masking paper.
Be sure to carefully peel off the tape while it's still soft. Maybe practise on some fun objects first!

No reason to 'Big Deal' plastidip.

When your allegiances change, you pressure wash it off and choice another color !!:p

Yeah, in particular those Lexus front ends: a front ender is gonna mean a lot of dental work...

    Oh....RIGHT.
Not many folks refer to a year old (or less) car as "a daily beater". ;)

IF.....that is a red paint smudge, a little rubbing compound followed by a bit of cleaner/wax might fix it right up.
    Cost: less than $20.
    Time: less than an hour.

(Edit) OH you are talking about the HOLE in the grill.
    Never mind.

I don't think there is such thing as cheap parts for this car. :(
