No. I think that was a change in the 2007/10 timeframe and these junkyard modules are from late 90's to early 2000's cars. I recall seeing in Homelink's FAQ that even some 2011 model year cars didn't yet support that new security codes profile.

I haven't yet tried rolling codes with my junkyard modules, as my opener is pretty old. I may test it this weekend with my GF's garage door opener. But, that might get me suckered into modding her PIP this weekend :censored:

Got this one couple of weeks ago. The grip isn't that good so i'll be looking for something different.

Do you have some non-B/W photos? It looks awesome! what mm size of LEDs did you use? Do you have pictures or write up of the retrofit install?

The picture actually is non BW but i took it inside my garage. i will repost the picture again when i park my car outside

For the LED i got it from Ebay

    10 20 100 x Pre Wired 5mm LED Light Bulb Lamp 12V 12 Volt 20cm DIY Prewired LEDs | eBay

The process to retrofit is first bake the headlight

DIY HEADLIGHT REMOVAL AND HEADLIGHT BLACKOUT GUIDE AKA Baked Headlight | PriusChat

Then install LED by drill a small hole behind it and use epoxy to set the location of the led.

I only put the expoxy only in the back where is the wiring not on the LED part

Cool. Looks similar to the LED setup I did last year. The issue I had was the LEDs burnt out due to heat. Was curious as to if you had made a heatsink for the LEDs or had another method for heat reduction.

Does it have the vehicle speed lockout like the oem head unit? Or can all functions be used regardless of vehicle speed?

My 3 didnt have a camera installed my own and it works with this head unit. Steering wheel controls all work. You are able to program the buttons to any function you want which is really cool.

If it is a large plastic nut, it came from your kick panel cover next to your dead pedal (by parking brake).

Did you find it in the driver's side footwell? ;)

Yup, looks like the plastic nut from either the driver or pass side kick panels.
