    On the coldest day of the year so far (-5C or 23F) I decided it was time to reverse the colors on the HVAC screen. Worked out well in the end and looks much better IMHO! Picture attached. It even warmed up to -4C after I finished!

    Well, I did it myself! It is not for the faint-of-heart since you need to pry off the existing polarizing filter, scrape the glue off the display (which is glass, so not difficult with a little Goof-off added) and position a new filter (which you need to buy. Removing the HVAC panel is not difficult if you have removed other panels from the car. If no one else has written this up, I can do it. I did not take quite enough pictures but I can probably fake some! Let me know it people want a write-up.

    OK, let me put something together. I owe someone one on the tilt mirror module too. Good thing it is getting to cold to work on the car. I can catch up on my paperwork (and the bills from working on the car)!

    Added a CARiD Remin "ebony zebra-wood" dash kit. Ordered the standard basic kit, and only used about half of it with just enough select pieces to upgrade the interior without going overboard. While I know it is not everyone's taste, to me adding just a few select pieces of the very dark/gray-brown wood with the bisque interior (and all its standard gray and black accents) hit the mark. The pictures actually make the wood look more brown, but in real life it is more of a gray tint-blends perfectly where there was OEM gray plastic.
