Coinciding the announcement w dieselgate anniversary makes me wonder if there is a political agenda here in these divisive times. First, would the experts here fact-check the numbers? I'm by no means an expert but once we have some agreement on the facts, we can look into who paid for the studies, organizational ties, etc.

The Plug-in Prius is not explicitly named in either article as the offender but the standard Prius hybrid is named as a reference point w 135g CO2/km. Is it safe to say that the majority of all PHEV sales are Prius?
