Initial troubleshooting was leading me to potential intermittent inverter water pump issues. Each time I checked it seemed like it was moving coolant at a good rate, but i replaced it today anyways with a genuine part from Toyota. Unfortunately, when it rains it pours. Both of our Gen 2 Priuses developed red triangles of death in the past week.<br />
<br />
This thread is about a 2006 Gen 2 (I&#039;m hoping to get one of them up and running before worrying about the second).<br />

About 10 days ago, my wife was pulling away from our house when the red triangle, VSC light and warning light came up.<br />

I&#039;ve had 12 V batteries cause all sorts of issues before. I checked the voltage using the MFD and it was a little low (10.8 V or so)....<br />

I got the part out along with the bracket. Unfortunately, the top line/hose nut is stuck in there and the thread got stripped.<br />
<br />
I got the part out by opening the other end of the line, and taking it along with the part.<br />
<br />
At this point I want to replace it. The nut isn&#039;t coming out, so I&#039;m looking for that entire line.<br />

Anyone got a part number for it?<br />

So I decided to clean out the Hybrid Battery cooling fan. I didn’t have an air compressor to clean it out with and cleaned it out with water instead, I made sure to avoid the electrical connector as much as possible. I still dried with a fan with like 20-30 minutes. <br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I am not yet convinced that what I am seeing is real, but my 2007 of late seems to be reading the outside temperature too high, and when set to just blow air there is warm air coming out of the vent in either recirc or fresh positions (with T-inside set lower than T-outside).  For the first one, this afternoon it was reading 85 when it wasn&#039;t more than 75 outside.  The car had been in the sun though, so maybe the metal around wherever that sensor is located was warm to start with and stayed...<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Brought a rebuilt 2007 Prius and have been driving it for about a month while replacing a few parts.<br />

The fuse box housing was cracked from previous hood damage, so I picked up a replacement fuse box from a junkyard. I did not swap the actual fuse box electronics or connectors, only the plastic housing.<br />
<br />
The process was simple. I unclipped all connectors from the damaged housing, slid everything out, and snapped it into the replacement housing. Everything went back exactly where it was....<br />
