We own two Prius 2016 Type 3 cars, both have the same issues with Navigation :
Lake Ronkonkoma, NY doesn't exist. If you touch the screen at any point while enroute guided by the navigation, the map freezes, and you have to exit out of navigation, and then back to navigation, resume guidance...

The Bluetooth doesn't always see the phone the is connected, sometime the phone is connected to the bluetooth, but music via blue tooth doesn't appear/or play (you can press play on the phone app to start the music, but the hands free options fail 9 out of 10 times).

We have both visited the dealer twice, each, to request upgrades or fixes, but these issues persist.

Does the Connecticut Lemon laws apply to this issue?

When is Toyota going to fix these issues?

    welcome!
toyota nav is a poor job, but you should be able to touch the screen without it freezing. i would demand that the units be replaced under warranty. call toyota customer service if the dealer balks.
as for lemon law, contact the consumer affairs division of your ag's office.
    all the best!(y)

Has the dealer installed any of the software updates that Toyota has already released for the head unit? See my postings from February 18 and May 22 for more about this, including a link to the service bulletin (T-SB-0103-16) and how you can see the version numbers of the installed software to compare with those in the bulletin.
This forum probably isn’t the best source for legal advice. Your state’s Department of Consumer Protection website has lemon law information, including a booklet called Back in the Driver’s Seat (PDF). If you still have questions, I’d suggest consulting a lawyer, who could evaluate whether you have a viable claim, and if so, advise you about any deadlines that may apply, and what you should do (or not do) to protect your rights.
