  Hi Mendel. Sorry, I didn't see an option for Private Message. I'm refurbishing a 2004 Gen 2 Prius. I'm in Vancouver and trying to find a reasonably priced 12V battery (on a very tight budget). You had mentioned something about Canadian Tire having a Motomaster that might work and you considered buying it. Did you ever get a new battery? Any recommendations? Thanks.

  Hi!2017 Prius I do have a coolant leak,dealer says is from my Exhaust Heat Recirculation System.The problem is that part is quite expensive and if I do it I just want to be sure is from there. How can I test it? I was thinking to bypass the exhaust gas heat exchanger linking those 2 water hoses with a metal pipe . I want to try this only to see if I still have the leak. What do you think about this idea?

  I hope you/family are well. I appreciate the information you provided last time I posted. I have 2010 Prius, Base 2 with 25,800 miles. It's 10 years old and need service advice: Brake fluid exchange, Coolant exchange inverter, Coolant exchange engine, Trans axle fluid exchange, HV fan cleaning. Thanks.

    Toyota USA recommends 15 yrs or 150k miles for inverter coolant. That said, 10 yrs or 100k is Toyo Canada recommendation.

    Most likely going to do brake fluid exchange, engine coolant exchange, and trans axle fluid exchange at end of month along with my oil change. Spoke with Toyota USA and said definitely sooner the better for all of them. Always appreciate the help.

  Hi Mendel - got the Noco Gen1 Mini, but the dang thing comes with eyelets. My ground bolt is nicely rusted on and the front jump point isn't budging. Alligator clips would've been ideal here. Any ideas?
